5 DAY WILDLIFE SAFARI

Murchison Falls National Park is the biggest National Park
in Uganda with an
area of 3840sqkm. The River Nile divides the Park into two,
the North and
South sectors and forms the impressive Murchison Falls
where it flows over
the Western Rift Valley escarpment. Here the river is
forced through a seven
meter wide gap in the rocks and cascades down a steep 43
meter drop. The
drive takes out 6-7hours to the National Park. Exciting
Game Drives
through Rare Palm Forests. The Park is home to over 240
Bird Species
including the Rare Shoebill Stork and a variety of Tree
Species.
DAY 1 *
On Arrival at Entebbe Airport you will be met by an Almax
Tours
Representative, who will take you to your hotel in
Entebbe/Kampala and then
brief you on your Safari.* FB*
DAY 2 *
Depart Kampala and travel through the Luwero triangle
stopping at Masindi
hotel for lunch. Continue with your journey to Murchison
Falls Park via
Budongo Forest through the western arm of the Great East
African Rift
Valley. On your way to Nile Safari Lodge, you will branch
off within the
Park to the Top of the Falls to enjoy the spectacular Falls
where the Nile
thunders and roars forming a rainbow in a plume of the
spray, you will then
proceed to the lodge for Dinner and overnight. *FB*
DAY 3*
After breakfast, you will cross the Nile by a ferry and
enjoy a Game Drive
in the Northern part of the Park. You will be able to see
Elephants,
Buffalos, Oribis, Bushbucks, Lion, and a Launch Trip to the
bottom of the
famous Murchison Falls where water squeezes through the
narrow gorge. This
grants you an opportunity to see herds of Hippos,
Crocodiles, Water Bucks,
and bird species. Back atao the Lodge for Dinner &
Overnight. *FB*
DAY4*
After an early breakfast, drive to Budongo forest for bird
watching with
lunch in Masindi, and then proceed to Kampala/Entebbe
arriving in evening.
Check into your chosen hotel for dinner and overnight. *HB*
DAY 5*
Depending on your departure time, you can have a city tour
after your
breakfast and our experienced guide will take you through
the city hills,
meet people, visit cultural sites like the Kasubi Royal
Tombs, the Uganda
Museum, Nommo Gallery,Okapi Gallery, Mama Moz and Tulifanya
Gallery, and the
National Theatre. Back to your hotel for lunch, rest or be
transferred to
the Airport for departure.
